Meet Dr Nina Ong (Dentist)
Dr Nina was inspired to become a dentist because she wanted to help anxious patients and change people’s minds who think that going to the dentist is scary.
“Oral care/dental hygiene is healthcare that people can’t ignore but choose to avoid due to fear of the dentist, and I want to change that.”
Education and Professional Development
Dr Nina earned a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and a Master of Dentistry from Griffith University. She also studied veterinary science for three years.
To stay current in the field, Dr Nina also takes various professional development courses, including veneers and paediatric dentistry.
Helping Patients Smile With Greater Confidence
For Dr Nina, the most rewarding aspect of being a dentist is helping others smile again, be confident, and not be afraid of the dentist.
Outside the Practice
When she’s not caring for patients’ smiles, Dr Nina enjoys cooking at home, creating recipes and testing new dishes. She also loves spending time with her three children.
